drone — atlas filmed by a drone: real-time 3D vibedemo in 6 KB (6,189 bytes)

The nine worlds of "atlas" seen from a drone: fast runs skimming the scenery, climbs that reveal the landscape, dives, and orbits around a monument — two eight-second shots per world, cut on the beat. House at 120 BPM, 2:24. This is not an animated film: it is a 6 KB (6,189 bytes) Linux program that computes everything while it runs. There is no video, no texture, no 3D model and no audio file. The scenery is made of mathematical formulas drawn with raymarching in an OpenGL shader, and the music is synthesized on the GPU by a fragment shader, one stereo sample per pixel. Every movement is locked to the music, so the demo plays exactly the same every time. Same worlds and same music as "atlas", only the camera changes. Rendered frame by frame from the program, 1080p at 60 fps. Sources on https://git.coopix.eu/public/demo_test
